Safe space program is a robust engagement program running weekly through out the year to provide girls with activities that keeps them meaningfully engaged while they navigate through their challenges.
The program targets girls aged 15-25 years who have either never been to school, school drop outs or those who have finished school and are idle.
This training is aimed at empowering girls in all aspects of their lives from financial to health self esteem to personal development.
A weekly training program where the girls are exposed to:
1. Leadership skills through the personal development program.
2. Technical skills through the film academy and Tech her up program
3. Entrepreneurship skills through the She leads through buisness program.
So far we have trained more than 1500 girls over the past 3 years and presently have more that 60 girls enrolled..
Our goal is to have this safe spaces replicated by these girls in different communities across Africa.
Tech Her Up Program
A 6 months program focused on training girls on basic and advanced technology. Girls are trained on different skills starting from the basics of how to turn on a computer to developing problem solving applications to 3D animations.
They are also exposed to finding opportunities to get scholarships and sponsorship to continue their education
March Against Hunger
An annual program held in March every year where we reach out to thousands of hungry families with food and household items to sensitize them about the dangers of poverty and hunger. We use this as a medium to enlighten them on the need to protect and educate their children, especially girls, and also present them with options available for them to overcome poverty.
Through this project, we recruit beneficiaries for other empowerment projects running all through the year.
The advent of the Covid-19 Pandemic birthed a Sub-Project under this called Food Bank. Each month, we reach out to a certain number of families identified, with food items that could last them 2 – 4weeks
Health For Her
Health for her project is focused on addressing issues surrounding rape, menstrual hygiene and maternal health (especially teenager pregnancy)..
Through this project we enlighten girls about how to protect their bodies and take better care of themselves and also support them with Sanitary packs.
We partner with health personnel to provide trainings to Traditional birth attendants and care givers on safety measures during and after pregnancy, caring for new born and family planning..
We also provide counselling and social support for sexual abuse victims.
Through this project we have been able to reach out to over 2000 women and girls including the recent dialogue which brought together prominent stakeholders within the state to discuss possible solutions to some of the challenges surrounding these issues.
Feed From Farm Program
This project is targeted at introducing and training young women on how to become agriprenuers. The program takes on about 10 women on a 6-12 months training in crop and animal farming where they work as farm attendants and have the opportunity to learn how to run and grow a farming business.
This will not only empower them economically but will further address the issue of hunger and poverty by making food available to families in these communities.
Upon completion of the program, these women will be empowered based on their performances to start up their own business and continue their education.

Through this program we provide basic buisness training for local women who already run small buisness and also provide support funds to help boost their business and is mentored and monitored over the next 13 months.
The most exciting part of this project is that after empowerment, they women are engrafted into the community based cooperative where the provide social and financial support for each other and also from their communities. So far we have supported 15 women over the past 17 months
